My time with Michelle + Jared started with a peaceful walk along the coast, crossing over some deep areas of the backshore (which we had to get a little creative to cross) and picking up shells along the way. Outer Banks engagement sessions are always tip-top, but we typically end up doing them in summer, so traveling out there in the fall, when the air has a little chill, the water bites a bit more, and the beaches are empty from vacationers. There is also something about the way the light hits in the fall that creates a space for a different kind of love, not to be confused with the summer beach trip variety. Although, these two were like newly met beach bums, running around, flirting, and full of that exciting, new love that you want to soak up before your family piles back into the Suburban to head home. For Michelle + Jared, their time at the coast ended a bit differently because after knocking off the sand from their feet, they hopped into their own car and drove home together, with the rest of their lives together still ahead.
