This past September, we set out on an adventure with Sarah and Joel to explore and do shoot their beautiful Hanging Rock engagement session. Looking back at this shoot stirs up such emotions that feels in a way like it happened over a period of life and not just in one day because of the complexity of climbing way more steps and steep inclines than we had anticipated. We definitely misjudged the complexity of the 2.6 mile trek up to the summit and back as there was a whole lot more steep and rough climbing involved than we had planned for. We would get pretty exhausted but then it was just like, well we’ve already gotten this far so might as well finish this and man are we glad we did. SO rewarding and so worth it. Even the journey back down in the pitch black of night was insanely scary-exciting. It was such an amazing experience to have had with Sarah and Joel. They were complete troopers and the whole thing was just so much fun. Cannot wait to shoot their wedding this year!
