If we are not in the mountains, we love to be in New York City. It’s our favorite city to visit and to photograph in. We love to fly in super early the morning before to make the most of our time. We’ll drop off our bags at the hotel and go out to find some new, super awesome coffee shop or cafe and grab an americano and crank out some edits or emails. This time around, Jessica was staying back since our daughter was due in liek a month from Crystal + Alex’s wedding. So, I brought my good pal Rodney Brown out to NYC to shoot with me and we had the best time. We ate some good food, hung out the night before with some other crazy talented friends, The Mango Market. Coming up to NYC for the Crystal + Alex’s wedding was such a treat. Two of the sweetest, kind spirited and thoughtful people to ever live in New York City. Their love and devotion for one another is something to be admired and it followed us around all day. Their Foundry Long Island City wedding was genuinely Crystal + Alex. It was modern, full of heart, classy and 100% intentional.
Thank you to Crystal + Alex who truly made me + Rodney feel a part of the guest list. The way they were gracious and verbally affirmative throughout the whole day and that just means the world to us.

And now you should go over and watch the beautiful video our new friends, Meili + Stephen of Olena Films did for Crystal + Alex’s wedding. Serisouly, those two are so fun to work with and I had a blast working with them during the wedding and hanging out in the city afterwards.
