A few weeks ago while we were out visiting the Outer Banks with Jessica’s family, I had a day that I wanted to just go out and shoot. I was hoping for something like an Outer Banks adventure session. Luckily, I got connected with Ariana + Sammy, who are both full time Outer Banks residents and small business owners. Pretty much the ideal couple to shoot out there. They knew some lesser known spots and some great beach access areas too. Given they live out in the Outer Banks, they are both into surfing, long boarding etc., which is exactly what I was hoping to shoot. Not to mention, they had a sweet Land Cruiser.
Aside from all of that, they are just two beautiful people. We hung out on some dunes for awhile and it was just us there. No tourists, vacationers or even any other locals. It was refreshing documenting them just being themselves, in their element. We soaked up what little bit of sun we had left and they just went about it being them goofy, fun, weird selves.
So, to that, I say that you for trusting me to document the love you two share and being vulnerable about it. Without that, we could of never created such beautiful and honest images!
