I (Jessica) have known DaNae + Robbie for forever, especially DaNae. We grew up in church together and have endless memories of typical girly sleepovers when we were younger. We were inseparable bffs and spent every waking moment we could together. We got in trouble in Sunday school all the time for giggling and talking and carrying on. What I love about DaNae and I’s friendship is that even after going our separate ways after high school, we can always can come back to each other and pick up right where we left of. I love friendships like that. And then there is Robbie, who was a good friend in our youth group. There are countless fond memories from the youth group days. Robbie and his family are so sweet and just a little over a year ago, we shot his sisters wedding. We’ve all been a part of this semi-small group of friends who grew up in the same church, with the same friends and it’s just so cool to see where we’ve all ended up so far. One place that these two special friends have ended up is documented right here. DaNae + Robbie got married and are now expecting their first little one!! I always get excited when I hear that someone is expecting, but I can hardly contain myself when it’s a special friend. So, obviously, we had to do a shoot together and Brett and I lugged our little guy over to their place to do an intimate in-home maternity session with DaNae + Robbie. Loved every minute of it and cannot wait to photograph their beautiful little baby once he arrives!!
