Deirdre + Jon. These crazy, barefoot, shirt wide-open, sand between their toes, don’t give a care humans so much fun. And such BEAUTIFUL people.
Last time I (Brett) was in Charleston, SC I got the chance to hangout with these two incredible people. It was so great to finally meet in person and even more refreshing to document and witness the way these two love each other. Completely present, on a constant quest to exercise their unique ways to express affection and cultivate their relationship. We met up on Sullivans Island, saw one of the most amazing modern dome/hurricane homes ever (if you follow me on instagram, you probably saw it), ran around the little dunes and found the coziest spots on the beach. They both have such a rad style and both super creative and the day we shot was Deirdre’s last day at her day job. So, you could say this was an extra special day for both of them. These two are the real deal and it was truly awesome photographing them, talking shop, eating some delish nom nom and talking keto. It was a beautiful day.
Thanks for being great humans, a little weird, a little goofy and a lot of fun. And for trusting me to document and capture the way you love and how deep that goes. Loved doing this little Charleston couples session! It was wildly fun and I am super thankful for you both and our newfound friendship.
