Janine + Rob are two of our dearest friends. We’ve been through so many of life’s ups and downs with them, but the news of them expecting their first baby is definitely one of those ups that simply tops all the others. Naturally, they asked us to document this season in their life. The four of us headed down to Asheville for a weekend and found ourselves at Craggy Gardens (one of our favorite spots) and decided to do some photos for them there. It was perfect. We love shooting Craggy Gardens portrait sessions! The fog rolled in just as we reached the top and for whatever reason, there wasn’t even anyone else up there that day. And yes, Janine was 8 months pregnant and yes, she did hike nearly 2 miles up to get these shots 🙂 She was an absolute legend!
