When we learned our dear friend Priscilla, who helped us plan our very own wedding, was spearheading the creation of a new European-inspired luxury venue just outside Raleigh, North Carolina, our anticipation soared. Central North Carolina isn’t typically synonymous with opulent wedding venues, although the ones we do have are truly stunning, so when Priscilla unveiled the plans for Oxbow Estate, we were utterly enthralled.
While we adore traveling to capture weddings in breathtaking locales, the prospect of having such a splendid venue close to home for our couples’ special days is equally appealing. Nestled in the heart of North Carolina, Oxbow Estate in Clayton is conveniently located just a short drive from Raleigh and approximately two hours from Charlotte.
The arrival of this romantic, luxury wedding venue is truly a cause for celebration in our region. While there are indeed a handful of picturesque venues in the Raleigh area, many couples have expressed difficulty in finding the perfect setting due to limited availability or venues falling short of their envisioned dream.
