Jaclyn and Rudy exchanged vows amidst the elegant backdrop of the New Orleans art museum, with their families and friends, many of whom were discovering the city’s charm for the first time. Hailing from France, England, Israel, and points in between, their guests reveled in the unique allure of this special place.
While not being a native New Orleans wedding photographer and having photographed in the Big Easy only a handful of times before, it is always really exciting and special when asked to make the trip down for any wedding or shoot. This time was a little extra special and I had the privilege of joining them for a a few days of their week that was brimming with festivities. From a lively private jazz show to an impromptu photoshoot with Jaclyn + Rudy before their welcome party, capturing the essence of the city, every moment was infused with joy and anticipation. Their rooftop welcome party at the Virgin set the stage for what was to come.
The wedding day itself defied description, but I trusted my photographs to convey its magic. From the leisurely French-inspired morning rituals to the charming journey aboard the New Orleans Trolley, every detail was imbued with intention and grace. Set amidst the verdant beauty of the museum’s gardens, their ceremony beneath the handcrafted Chuppah was a testament to love and craftsmanship.
I am deeply grateful to have documented these precious days with Jaclyn, Rudy, and their loved ones. Their wedding week was a celebration of friendship, style, and heartfelt moments that will be cherished forever.
Jaclyn and Rudy, your trust and friendship have left an indelible mark on me. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the most heart-filled, inspiring, and stylish wedding week imaginable.
