From the moment Andrea sent us a note about photographing her and Jacob’s season of life, I knew it would things would be special. From their Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session to their upcoming North Carolina mountain wedding. Andrea and Jacob both hold beautiful minds. Creative, thoughtful and present. I had known Andrea through the wonderful world of Instagram for awhile and always admired her creative eye. Having made a home together in the mountains of North Carolina, it was only natural to document their connection in the place that brought them together, so a Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session was most fitting. If you know us, then you know that the mountains here in North Carolina hold a special place in our hearts as well. It’s where we met and spent the first few years of our relationship, so any chance to photograph others in a place that is near and dear to our hearts is always a little extra special. This time around, because Jacob is a man of many talents and interests, they wanted to be bring something into this session that was true to who they are. Motorcycles. We spent our day together galavanting around some spots along the parkway and then found a quiet section to do a little riding. The calmness and comfort these two exude even while riding on a motorcycle along a mountain road is a perfect example of who they are.
