Raleigh-based, frequently photographing weddings in Asheville and throughout Western North Carolina, we consider the area to be our second home. The mountains hold a special place in our hearts. It’s where Brett grew up and were we met and began our lives together.
While not limited to those areas, as we photograph destination and out of state weddings frequently as well, these are some of our favorite Asheville, Boone, Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire and surrounding area venues.

That’s most of our couples. Most people, really. You won’t be asked to “perform.” We’ll give gentle direction when needed, and the rest is creating space for you to feel like yourselves. Our calm and relatable personalities really helps our couples, their families and guests feel comfortable and forget the camera is there.
Yes. Once you’re booked, we’ll send a planning guide and collaborate on a photo-friendly timeline that still protects the experience—so you’re not missing cocktail hour or disappearing from your own day.
No worries. We plan for flexibility—covered options, quick pivots, and lighting choices that keep everything feeling calm, documentary with a natural direction and editorial flavor, instead of chaotic.
We photograph primarily on digital with a film-forward approach, and we weave in film throughout the day when it adds something special—soft highlight rolloff, gentle grain, and timeless color. If you want heavier film coverage, we can add that on.
