Honestly, I cannot remember how we initially met Chelsy. What I do remember, is that there was an instant friendship. Aligning on all the things, especially our vision for the wedding industry, taste in design and interiors and the list could go on forever. Naturally, we became fast friends and soon after, began working together at weddings and on elopements. Now that her business, The Gathering Co., an incredible team of wedding planners and stylists, we finally got to collaborate on a brand shoot for their new website and brand launch. Despite it being a notoriously hot and humid summer evening in Raleigh, the set Chelsy and her team made was beautiful, simple yet intentional, and modern. All of which pretty much sums up her style. Her vision for the brand shoot was to create some beautiful, emotive, and editorial feeling photos as well as capture some tablescapes, details, and fun lifestyle photos of her and her team to use on their social media and new site. Branding and editorial shoots are such a passion for us, so we are so grateful to have been a part of this shoot. As you may or may not know, Brett was started out as an editorial and branding photographer before we went full in on weddings and elopements, so it definitely holds a special place in our hearts.
